Bring Game Design to Your Classroom

**REGISTRATION OPEN TO 20 TEACHERS**

Workshop will discuss how schools can bring a game design program to their school, as well as eSports club.  This is an Introduction to Game Design and will discuss learning coding and 2D game design fundamentals.

Teachers will..

• receive creative commons course work,
• gain an understanding of what free software is available for the classroom,
• run through a lesson to understand the requirements and time needed for student learning,
• create and model of game assets,
• discuss briefly, introducution into 3D games.

Other topics will include technology requirements and the many pieces needed to make it happen.

• Instructor will take questions prior to workshop for discussion the day of.
