It’s time to embrace the oscilloscope in your classroom! Join me in learning how to use the scope and how you can use it to gain the ever so elusive attention of our students.
We will go through the following areas to achieve a thorough understanding of the oscilloscope:
- Lab Scopes and how is it used in today’s automotive industry
- Scopes and accessories
- A break down on scope software
- How to configure our scope and produce patterns
- Obtaining scope patterns
- Scoping techniques designed to reach your students
This will be an interactive class using signal generators, trainers and vehicles to obtain patterns.

DAVE FERGUSON has 30 years of experience in the Transportation field. 20 years in the field as a service technician for automotive, power sports and heavy equipment. 13 years teaching Automotive in a “Live Shop” setting at both secondary & post-secondary levels..
