This ‘interactive’ workshop is led by two experienced health educators.  You will build skills and confidence in using a stethoscope and explore creative methods for utilizing a teaching stethoscope in your health science classroom.

Learn and practice skill and empathy-building techniques that highly engage students, plus receive a teaching stethoscope and sample grant proposal for participating!

Laura Benscheidt is a RN and medical science instructor passionate about cultivating opportunities and excellence for students and instructors. She teaches at Blue Valley CAPS, mentors new CTE instructors through KCCTE, and is the President of the new Kansas Health Science Instructors Association.
