Dr. Dell received his doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University\, a master of science degree in Technology Education from Pittsburg State University\, and a bachelor of science degree in Automotive Technology with an emphasis in Diesel and Heavy Equipment from Pittsburg State University. He began his career working for Case IH in their Technical Service Group in Racine\, WI\, specializing in combine diagnostics. \nHe currently teaches Automotive Electricity and Electronic Systems\, Automotive Automatic Transmissions\, Advanced Hydraulic Systems and Construction Equipment Systems. Tim has authored two textbooks: Hydraulic Systems for Mobile Equipment and Heavy Equipment Power Trains and Systems.

DESCRIPTION:**THIS 6-PART VIRTUAL SERIES IS LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS** \n  \nWorkshop Series Fee = $528.00 \n  \nDATES: \nTuesdays & Thursdays\, July 6 & 8\, 13 & 15\, 20 & 22 \n8:00 am – 12:00 pm CST (9 am to 1 pm EST) each day. \n*Must attend ALL sessions. \n  \nWORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: \nIn this 24-hour exam prep training\, attendees will learn the requirements to be qualified to take the FAA Part 107 exam (to be a certified Unmanned Aircraft Systems Pilot). Tutoring is included if participant takes exam and fails within 30 days of training. Tutoring will take place within 30 days of the last exam attempt. \n  \nPRESENTER: \nWayne Bailey has been flying drones since 2016 and is certified by the FAA as a Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot.  His background has been 45 years in Emergency Services.  He teaches the Part 107 training so students can successfully pass their FAA Part 107 exam. \n

More advanced users will find plenty of more complex material to challenge them.\nParticipants can select from many practical exercises to be demonstrated and worked on.\nThe primary goal of this workshop is to expand participants’ technical expertise when using these applications.\n\n  \nPRESENTER: \nBarry Hincks\, Professor Emeritus\, has taught graphic design and/or desktop publishing courses at the Rochester Institute of Technology\, University of Cincinnati\, Kansas City Art Institute\, and Johnson County Community College over the past several decades. DESCRIPTION:**REGISTRATION OPEN TO 10** \n  \nTraining Fee = $813.00 \nAccepted by the city of: Pittsburg\, Kansas \n  \nDESCRIPTION: \nDuring this training students can expect to gain information on how to read a PLC wiring I/O diagram along with experience in wiring up a Allen-Bradley Micrologix PLC processor and different inputs and outputs. \nStudents will also be introduced to a troubleshooting methodology and will be troubleshooting live circuits utilizing a DMM\, wiring diagram\, and the PLC program prints. \n  \nPRESENTER: \nDavid Budke has been teaching automation and electrical for Flint Hills Technical College for 12 years. David has an Associates Degree from Flint Hills Technical College as well as several summer of internships with many different manufacturers. \n

DESCRIPTION:**REGISTRATION OPEN TO 30 PARTICIPANTS** \nWorkshop Fee = $30.00 \n  \nWORKSHOP DETAILS: \nDuring this VIRTUAL workshop\, Mr. Gudde will explain how he started the class business\, Raider’s Ink as a blank canvas\, and walk participants through it’s growth stages\, to the present time (during the pandemic).  He will give a tour of his classroom and the machines that his students operate on a daily basis.  His presentation will include all operations from concept to production.  \nMr. Gudde will demonstrate some of the techniques he utilized with the business so you are able to start small and also give practical ideas for dreaming big. Raider’s Ink incorporates a unique business model that allows customers to feel good while buying the products.  \n  \nPRESENTER: \nEric Gudde has been teaching 17 years\, the last 14 years at Frontenac High School. He teaches General Technology to 7th and 8th graders. Additionally\, he teaches Video Productions\, Graphic Design\, Photography\, and Pre-Engineering to high school students. He has been teaching the student-led business\, Raider’s Ink\, for nine years.
