- This two-day workshop will focus on building skills beyond composition and exposure What many students learn in introductory photography courses.
- Topics covered will include: lighting, portraiture, advanced composition, editing techniques, commercial techniques as well as overall curriculum development advice.
- Participants can expect to leave this workshop with example assignments and the knowledge and resources to create their own advanced photography course.
Rion Huffman started his professional photographic career when he opened his portrait and wedding photography business in 2008. Since then, he has taught advanced photographic techniques at the post-secondary level and continues to shoot professionally on occasion. He is passionate about photography and education and he stays current in the field by competing against his peers. His work has been shown in international and national art galleries as well as winning awards in national advertising awards ceremonies.
